I stayed with Noma and her family in December 2017. It was one of the best experiences I had during my time in South Africa. Noma and her family showed me their beautiful village and explained a lot to me about the Xhosa traditions and life in the Eastern Cape. They never got tired of answering my countless questions. We had meals and celebrations with family and friends, did hikes to other villages to explore more parts of the beautiful region and explored forests and rivers nearby. The food was delicious. I even tried traditional beer - umqombothi! Thanks Noma again for the marvelous time.
